1. Service Overview
DramaTime is a content discovery app that helps users find trending drama, viral moments, celebrity news, and short-form video content. The app aggregates publicly available video content from search engines and presents it in an engaging, mobile-first browsing experience. DramaTime does not host, upload, or store any video content — all videos are played from their original sources (YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
2. Eligibility and Use
By using DramaTime, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into these Terms and that you will use the app in accordance with applicable laws. DramaTime is intended for personal, non-commercial use as a content discovery and entertainment tool. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the app.
3. Content Disclaimer
DramaTime displays content sourced from publicly indexed search results. We do not create, curate, endorse, or verify any of the video content shown in the app. Content is provided by third-party platforms and creators. Views, opinions, and claims expressed in videos are those of the original creators and do not reflect the views of DramaTime.
Content may include mature themes, strong language, or controversial topics related to celebrity drama, gossip, and pop culture. User discretion is advised.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited behavior includes:
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Using the app in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Redistributing, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the app or its content
- Using automated tools to scrape or extract data from the app
- Circumventing any technical measures in the app
5. Your Data
Your preferences, watchlist, profile information, voice notes, and view history are stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or transmit your personal data. You are responsible for your device's security and the data stored within the app.
Voice notes you create are stored on your device and are not uploaded to any server. Profile photos you take or select are saved locally and never transmitted.
6. Device Permissions
DramaTime may request access to your device's camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition. These permissions are used exclusively for the app's features (profile photo and voice notes) and can be revoked at any time from your device Settings. Denying a permission disables the related feature but does not affect the rest of the app.
7. Third-Party Content and Links
DramaTime displays video thumbnails and metadata from third-party sources. When you tap a video, it opens in an in-app browser loading the original source URL. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites and platforms. Your interaction with third-party content is governed by those platforms' own terms and policies.
8. Intellectual Property
The DramaTime app, including its software, interface, mascot character, branding, and design elements, is owned by DramaTime or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Video content displayed in the app belongs to the original creators and platforms. No rights to third-party content are granted through use of the app.
9. Disclaimer
DramaTime is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Content availability depends on third-party search APIs and video platforms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted performance. We do not guarantee that content will be accurate, current, or continuously available.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DramaTime and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or service interruptions arising from your use of the app or any third-party content accessed through it.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, the updated version will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
