Need help with shorts, videos, voice notes, or app settings? Start here.
Make sure you are running the latest version of DramaTime and a supported iOS version (iOS 18.0 or later). Fully close the app and relaunch. Restart your device if the issue persists. Contact support with your device model and iOS version if the problem continues.
DramaTime requires an active internet connection to fetch content. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular data connection. If content still doesn't load, try pulling down to refresh on the Videos tab or switching to a different category. The content API may occasionally be temporarily unavailable.
The Shorts tab fetches short-form video content based on your selected preferences. If no results appear, try tapping "Try Again" to retry with different search terms. You can also update your preferences by resetting from the Profile tab and choosing different drama categories.
When you tap a video, it opens in an in-app browser loading the original source (YouTube, TikTok, etc.). Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If the video still won't play, try tapping the Safari icon in the top-right corner to open it in your default browser instead.
Voice notes require Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions. Go to your device Settings > DramaTime and confirm both toggles are enabled. Tap the "Dictate" button in the voice note sheet and speak clearly. Live transcription will appear as you speak.
The welcome greeting uses text-to-speech and plays when you enter the main app. Make sure your device is not on silent mode and the volume is up. You can toggle this feature on or off in Profile > Settings > Welcome Greeting.
To set a profile photo, you need to grant Camera permission (for taking a photo) or Photo Library permission (for choosing from gallery). Go to Settings > DramaTime on your device to check permissions. Photos are saved locally and persist across app restarts.
Go to Profile > Settings. You can clear view history and search history individually, or use "Clear All Data" to erase everything including your profile, watchlist, preferences, and notes. This action cannot be undone. Alternatively, uninstalling the app removes all data.
Try using different keywords or broader search terms. The search feature queries public video content and results depend on what's currently available. Trending topics shown on the Search tab are pre-loaded suggestions you can tap to quickly find popular content.
